FARB is pleased to announce its first online continuing education seminar for 2025. This webinar’s topic is Major Questions Doctrine presented by Professor Evan C. Zoldan. The major questions doctrine is unsettling longstanding regulatory authority, creating dangerous gaps in the law. State courts have begun to adopt the major questions doctrine in imitation of the federal courts, creating concerns for state regulatory authority as well.

About the Speaker

Evan C. Zoldan is a Professor of Law and Director of the Legal Institute of the Great Lakes at the University of Toledo College of Law, where he researches legislation, administrative law, and state and local government. His work has been cited by both federal and state appellate courts and in briefs, treatises, and scholarly works. Professor Zoldan received his law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from New York University.
