FARB Statement re Biden Executive Order on “Promoting Competition”

President Biden’s issuance of a new Executive Order regarding “Promoting Competition in the American Economy,” coupled with new concerns about public safety stemming from the recent condominium collapse in Surfside, Florida, “spotlights the need to carefully consider the value of reasonable regulation as a means of protecting both the consumers, the greater public and our economy,” according to the Federation of Associations of Regulatory Boards (FARB).
